Pipe cleaning

Not only glass and acrylic bongs, but also traditional pipes made of wood or metal are in need of regularly cleaning action. While it is enough to fresh up handheld pipes with a common cotton stick (the originally variant of pipe cleaners), the correct cleaning of a bong is something different.
Even bongs with bowl are difficult to treat with a simple brush and are in need of a special cleaner, which should be used frequently.

Traditional pipe cleaner

Cotton wicked pipe cleaners are standard for old school wooden pipes and do their job fine, if you want to clean your downpipe, but by their rather small size, they are not recommendable for bongs of glass, acryl or other material.

Brushes for bongs

...are highly recommendable for a proper clean pipe. Take care you choose a
adequate length to make sure it will reach the bottom of the pipe. In addition, the shape of your bong is a essential thing...there a special brushes with expandable bristles for bongs with bowls. Otherwise you would fail to reach the filthy parts at the inner site of the bowl.

If you dont want to use the standard cleaner from above for your downpipe, there would be special brushes for chillums too. Here the same note as with the big brushes: take care of the length !

Chemical and ecological cleaners

There are various cleaners for bongs and other kinds of waterpipes. Penetrating chemical cleaners are only useful for glassbongs, but not for acrylic one. Did you ever seen a bong melting? Iam sure you dont to...
